Title: Are Dvd Drives Interchangable ?

As per the title really.  I have a flashed 360 that is on it's way out.  It's being kept alive with the occasional "toweling" but it ain't gonna last forever.  

So, is it possible to take the Samsung drive out of that one and put it directly into a newer 360 that may potentially have the HDMI and a Benq or whatever they're using these days ??

i belive u need to extract the dvd key from the new dvd drive then place it on the modded one.
