Title: Found Possible Bug?
Post by: No_Name on January 31, 2007, 02:27:00 PM
How is that a bug?

The message clearly says that the guide is not avaiable when playing an Xbox game on the 360 seeing as there was no guide for the XBox.

You have not discovered a bug at all I am sorry to report, your console is working as designed.

While it's not a bug, why did M$ put in the whole "Shut Down" option?

It "looks" very crash-like, when it's simply a message box.

The whole "Shut Down" option is there so you can "Shut Down" the 360.  I think you may have found something huge here.  Mods please sticky this thread in every section.

nickolasj80 this 360 has alot of background functions that can be called no matter what game Xbox or 360 your using, this is not a crash or a problem his 360 is working as designed by MS.

Seriously anyone who has a 360 can get that dialog to come up by hitting the guide button while playing a BC compatable Xbox game.

Like I said, I know its just a message, I've personally gotten it several times when I hit the wrong button on the controller. I just think M$'s verbage/option/handler was a little funny.

C'mon baby, Dont fear the reaper...
