Hi guys, okay i have bought an xbox360 havent touched it yet flash wise, think its got a toshiba drive in it.
Question about flashing, i read previously you had to flash several times to perform backup of xbox360 games and play backups.
However with the new birdy friendly firmware sware which has Xtreme firmware v2.0, do i need to reflash to perform certain functions?.....
Or do i just flash drive once and im done, and when i want to perform a backup i just connect dvd from xbox to pc via sata and im away? when i want to play games i just insert a disc which disble 8080 mode?
Are there any good walkthroughs specifically for this new firmware?
cheers.

HERE is the latest tutorial on how to do everything flash related to your xbox 360. If you have a Toshiba drive, things are generally easier in my opinion.
Also with the extreme 2, you burn a special file, and when the firmware sees it on the disk you burned it too, it puts the drive into 0800. So then you can backup your games. Its very cool, no need to flash back and forth! Good luck, hope the tutorial helps.
