Wxripper doesn't include the SS so you need to flash the TS drive and get it there

Why isnt it possible to get teh ss via a normal dvd drive?
I mean there has to be a specific technical reason, otherwise somebody would have written a program to get the ss by now, right?

At the moment I dont really see the purpose in wx ripper if you have to flash the 360 drive everytime you want to back up a game anyways.

I heard that the Wxripper method is way faster then using the 360's drive

I heard (because I've got Hitachi and can't try for myself)
