Title: Xbox 360 Data Dvd .avi Playback? Fast Answer Plz

Is it possible to copy the 3 films I have which are all xVid .avi files to a Dual Layer Data Disk and watch them instead of waiting  2 hours for them to encode.

Yes.......as long as you have the Optional Media Update installed on your console, it'll work
