Title: Media Update On Jtag'd Console?

hey, i have the media update on my stock HDD from live and was wondering if it is possible to copy it to my JTAG'd 360?

i can get it off the HDD easy but i would need to find it first

by big question is if it would run on the other 360. would i have to hex edit it to the new consoles info? or would running it through Yaris Swap work?

I don't think it will because your un-modded console is looking for it's signature.

Well i downloaded a media update from somewhere so must of come off someone elses live console and ran it through yaris swap and it worked fine so i think it should work for you if you take yours from your live and yaris swap it

Yea i didn't read your post clearly  before. The way you just described it is how you would have to go about it and it should work on both consoles , leaving the original file in its original state and on the unmodded xbox  and downloading a copy of it too your pc and run it through yaris swap then it will also work on the Jtag'd one i have already done it so yea it does work.
