I'm disappointed that the feature list for Xebian 1.0.1 doesn't include KDE! It would be convenient to have KDE and other major softwares all on a single disc.

Thing about Xebian is it's nice and small and doesn't install a bunch of stuff you don't need, because you'll probably play with kde for about 5 minutes, say "ooooh pretty" then go back to xfce cause it's too slow.
If you really want it though......
apt-get update
apt-get kde-base
Job done

Oh, I already know how to install KDE via apt-get.
It would be convenient if the KDE is offered during the initial installation of Xebian. I'm sure it'll fit on the CD.

Xebian is made to fit nicely on a stock HD and adding KDE would just make it hog up too much HD space on a stock drive. I mean Gentoox comes with KDE and takes up about 3.5 gigs where as Xebian does not have KDE and is only about 2 gigs. I'm not saying that it is KDE that is in the 1.5 gig difference but I'm sure it is a big part of it. You want KDE use Gentoox or install it with apt-get on Xebian. Don't know why anyone would want KDE anyway as it runs like crap on a xbox do to lack of ram.

the 3.5 GB is not used it's just because users wanted more space.

Yeah, you can specify if you want a smaller file system or something. You don't have to use the 3.5 if you don't want to.
