has anyone encountered that error yet?
i've converted a movie from mkv to mp4 - since it didn't work playing it from dvd (yes, it's split into files smaller than 4gb), i tried cutting out just a 50mb piece, putting it on an usb stick (which is too small to put the whole movie on it) and it worked!
so i figured "oh well, guess it's probably a bug with dvds then, so i'll just use an external hard drive - should work just like the usb stick" (both stick and hdd have a fat32 file system...) - but it didn't.
does anyone here have an explaination how this could happen and what i can do against it? i've read numerous threads about files being too big or encoded wrong but since the small bit did work those can't be the reasons?

If the file extension is .mp4 the box doesn't like it some times. Rename it to .avi if it isn't already.
