Title: Odd Streaming Problem (53-c00df238) "connection To Your Computer
Post by: {Sephiroth} on May 10, 2008, 03:19:00 PM
Hi,
For some reason my 360 will not stream media to my 360 or PS3 anymore. It works a bit if I restart the computer and just play music, but if I try to load a video, most of the time it says

"Unplayable Content:
The connection to your computer was lost. Make sure your computer is turned on, connected to your network, and is running media sharing software.
Status Code: 53-C00DF238"

Once this has happened once, it is no longer possible to stream music from my PC.

The weird thing is, I can see all the files just fine and it passes the media streaming test. I'm pretty sure it's a PC problem as it happens with both my PS3 and 360. The fact that it works for a while implies that my PC just decides it can't be bothered to stream anymore.

I also tried booting in to XP and the same thing happened. I'm pretty sure it never used to do this. Unfortunately, I'm using a craptacular BT Home Hub (if that's any use).

Anyone else had this problem, and any suggestions?

Cheers.
