Title: Videos On 360 Hdd
Post by: bucko on November 23, 2007, 02:45:00 PM
The 360 security doesn't allow this, they have to be either streamed through network (TVersity is good), burnt to a CD/DVD in acceptable format or on a FAT32 USB Pen or Hard Drive..

Or, you need an external Hard Drive formatted in HFS+ . . .  If you go the Fat32 route, you won't be able to view anything over 2 gigs.

No, you can use Windows apps or more easily with Linux.  Didn't you try a google search?

Ok, so I now have an external drive, formatted in HFS+, and I can play large movies from it. However, I really want to be able to copy the files to the 360 hdd as I have the elite with a lot of free space.

I can't seem to find a way to do this in the menu system on the 360. Is there a way to do this?

You cannot load your own videos to the 360's hard drive, at least at this time. The 360 drive can only be used for XBL-downloaded videos.
