Well this is what I find confusing:

This image clearly (or does it?) appears to show XBMC on the Xbox 360 harddrive.
What I don't get either is if a firmware flashed drive can play XBox1 games, why can't it use a version of XBMC that runs from a CD/DVD?
Of course I guess the answer to this may be that XBMC is still unsigned code - which would mean I answered my own question.
Still it doesn't explain the above image - and also, what with the Xell/King Kong shaders exploit. you would imagine that at least perhaps something could be done to get some unsigned code (beyond Linux) running on the 360?
