Title: Mce 2005 And Transcode 360 Can't Play Xvid Files

OK I have a bunch of xvid files and decided to try out MCE 2005 and Transcode 360 but I am not having any luck.  I see the show....click more info.....click more.....then choose transcode.....I hear a ping then nothing .... I searched here and found 1 thread but there was no answer.  Any ideas?  All I have installed on the PC at the moment is WMP11, and xvid codec.

hmm, no idea. try using the VLC encoder for transcode. it might solve your problem

what is VLC encoder and how do I set that up?

crap same thing.....I click it and the choose transcode and it just gives me a ping and then nothing happens
