I've also lost my music database (not the files themselves) in MCE, and got it back by messing with WMP.  However, I am still having problems seeing my music with the extender feature.  My Live TV is also screwed up.  When I go to My Music, there is nothing there - even if I add the correct folder(s).   Any ideas?

How did you reset MCE on the 360?
