Xbox-Wired is without any doubt THE place to get your modchip. I sent an email inquiring about the Xenium around 11:30 pm EST and to my surprise I received a reply within two hours. That's 1 o'clock in the morning! I then spoke with the main guy, Mike, on the phone and he quickly assured me that no matter which option for installing the chip, I *should* be able to do it, but if I *wasn't* then I could send my xbox in and they'd take care of the rest for a small price. He sent me an mpeg movie of him installing a solderless Chameleon in under 15 seconds to assure me that *anyone* can do it. So, I hung up and logged into the website to make a purchase. Quick, easy, intuitive interface for shopping. My only complaint about the entire process is their lack of a "real" SSL Certificate. I was very glad to see that my data was being encrypted during the order, but the Certificate was not authored by one of my trusted providers (Verisign, etc). However, I placed my order. As it was a pre-order, I was a bit concerned about the actual retail price of the chip, but that's the price you must pay to be the first to have the latest and greatest. I received an email earlier tonight letting me know that the product has shipped, my card has been charged, and giving me the tracking number. My only complaint here is that no exact amount was totaled in my invoice as to how much *actually* was charged. This is important and I feel needs to be worked out. It is a bit unsettling to not know exactly how much was charged to my card and that I must wait for the monthly statement. Regardless, this was a much smoother transaction than I had imagined.

-Easy checkout, nice web interface, prompt emailing / updating of order status

The guys are pretty quick, and aside from SSL (not too strong) I was ok with the security. I also like for shops to take their own pictures of products, including packagine and ENTIRE contents...I've yet to see a "package contents" pic or list for the Xenium.

i have so much work that i even answer the phone here sometimes at 2.00 AM .. any way i had total 8 Custom install for that day , it was weekend and i had no one there to help me .. so i ask my brother to help me with opening the Xbox so i can get to them faster and get them done by monday .. my brother dose not know anything about xbox or how it work i just show him how to open it and give them to me than close them .. he dosen't know thw Diff between Samsung drive and thompson to him there the same there just a drive that load the game ...
Well make the store short there where 2 order under the name of michael for that day .. " One of michel will be our customer with the mix up drive" so some where the drive got mix up..
What I do to fix this problem after getting his email .. Open bran new xbox pull out the Samsung drive and Over nighted to him with a free chip and took full responsiblity for not checking my brother work ..
customer has call me and he got his Drive and will send back the old drive to me he was happy and as a compnay i did what i could to make him happy .. i hope he will post back a reply about this matter , that is been taken care off..

PS about the M7 Bios well Mr customer since we going talk about in order to install you drive and transfer the MS dash File From the orginal Drive i have to put a bios on the chip inorder to make your new 120 gig drive work and than lock the Drive you show me a way to do this with out using no no Bios as you stated ..
Also for some one who is using a moded xbox with 120 GIG i don't think should say anything since what you doing is a big no no .. any way this matter is resolved and i can show proof of tracking that a new drive and free chip was send .

but since it took too long i say i install a X2 2.3 for now once i get the shippment i send you the chip.. but than i got a email saying what chip you installing i hope it's a Xenium .. well so i when head and i got you the chip you wanted from else where since it's talking too long .. your xbox is done and will ship out on monday

Now I read this thread and find out that his shop is closed, and he won't be recieving a shipment anytime soon. If that's the case, I just want a refund. It's been two months! This is ridiculous.
My total came to 55.55 for everything, and even though it's not an insanely large sum, I am a college student....I had to set aside money for that for quite a few weeks, and anyone at all would be angered by losing 55.55.

There were no problems then, I WAS satisfied with the shop at that time. No problems then...
But five months later, I found that someone have taken mony from my mastercard, $1848 and $207,75.
IT WAS THE Xbox-wired shop, and on the xbox-wired site it just say:
Coming back soon & better than ever <---Yea with my mony..!!!
I haven`t anything from Xbox-wired after that Xenium chip.
So this is a warning to all people who plan on doing buisniess whit xbox-wired OR Michael Motamni, DON`T!!

I purchased a premodded xbox from xbox-wired.com approx 4 months ago.. when I received it it was not in working condition and I had it promptly sent back to xbox-wired and sent them an email to expect it.
Now I receive no response from them about receiving the unit or anything for about 2 weeks. Then i write them a mail asking status and I get a reply "oh so thats yours we were wondering whose it was".. I then reply back asking them to fix it asap and send it back to the given address
Months pass, I send several emails and I get NO RESPONSE whatsoever.. until approx 3-4 weeks ago when I get a response saying the company is under new management and they know nothing of this deal.. since then they have been dilly-dallying saying they cannot do anything and are "asking" for my xbox back from the previous owners
I honestly dont care whos managing the company, it shouldnt matter to a customer, I paid for my xbox, i received a defective piece, I sent it back and did not receive a working one. I consider this company a fraud.
Please advise on what course of action I should pursue

It has been brought to our attention through various sources that a former owner of XBOX-WIRED, which is no longer affiliated in any way with XBOX-WIRED.com has been passing fraudulent charges on past customers credit cards.
We have been in contact with many people regarding this scam including the Credit Card companies that were used by this fraudster.
We encourage everyone to promptly, if they havent already, issue a chargeback ASAP for the amounts that were fradulantly charged to their credit cards.
If anyone needs additional information for your credit card company when filling a claim please contact us via PM or preferably email at [email protected] and we will gladly share any and all information that we have available to us.

I just had a bad experience with these guys over Xbox-Wired. I purchased a chip and two weeks later they charged my card, but I have received no confirmation or reply to my ( 10 emails I sent them) or returning any of my phone calls. It seems to me that they have gone out of business. I think xbox-scene should stop advertising for them and encouraging their sales. If an XBox-Scene reads this, please review the previous posts to see how these guys are ripping us off.

My question is why does x-box scene have them listed as an advertiser on their home page.
Gives us folks out here a false sense of security of reputable sites.
Hopefully Canadien law inforcement will get involved and they'll see some time in jail this Christmas.
This was a part of a long overdue present for my two little boys. They've been wanting a X-BOX to go with their Game Cube. They worked really hard all year on their schooling, chores, and rooms and so I wanted to give the best I could. These guys will burn at xbox-wired.com for this crap.

So the message above is fake, and this Tony S. must also be the culprit. My credit card has been charged $100 and no merchandise. This is clearly internet fraud and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. My order # is 10139106
