Title: Getting The 360 To Know The Song Titles And Album Name
Post by: ipodder2003 on December 18, 2005, 12:58:00 PM
No, unfortunately.  Store-bought pressed CD's have unique ID numbers imbedded into them, and that's what makes the DB's work to download the info.  Your burned CDs cannot have this info, unless it's a direct copy of a pressed cd.

You can use a USB keyboard for text entry though. Should save you some time.

I think you can add this data to a burned disk. You'd have to know these IDs, so it would only work for ccopied CDs, when you have the original. Clever trick.

I think if you rip the original with WMP and download album info, it will retain this info and include it on the disc if you burn it.
