On 01/10/05 i received the following response:
"Yes this week Friday & will ship Saturday."
On 01/15/05 I emailed again to to see if my product shipped.
On 01/16/05 I received the following response:
"The XFPS arrived Saturday & will not ship until Tuesday, no post today."
I didn't order this product, i ordered a pre-mod xbox with the X3.
I emailed back stating what my order should be.

Shipped on 10/27/04 and arrived on 11/01/04. I got a box with a case Xtender kit, a packing slip, no smartjoy frag. The packing slip had a handwritten (in red sharpie) words 'backorder' and the smartjoy frag line item was circled.
Since then I have emailed them 5 different times and left three voice mail messages at their contact number. The last two emails responded to the email address that generated the order/shipment notification AS WELL AS EVERY SINGLE CONTACT ADDRESS on their contact information page.
It has now been almost three months. Paypal did not refund my transaction at all because there was evidence they had shipped me a package (regardless of it's lack of contents).
They have since restocked the smartjoy frag, sold out again, and now say they have stock of the new Farmer XFPS (a similar device) when you click on the smartjoy frag link... but they have neither sent me one, refunded my $34+shipping, nor even bothered to offer any response to any email (or even a PM on this site).
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS THE-CONSOLE-CORNER.COM, they have zero communication. They will take your money, fail to deliver your product, and you will be left holding an empty box. THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY A TROLL. He takes your money no matter what you order and only offers best effort to fill the order holding your money forever. YOU WILL LIKELY NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER AND WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

It has now been 42 days since i have placed my order and i have still not received anything. I gave them one last chance to ship my order by 02/04/05. They stated they were not receiving new xboxes in time to complete my order but would go to Best Buy to buy some more to complete my order. I agreed to this and have been emailing them this week to confirm my order is going out. I sent 3 emails and received nothing. I have now given them until 02/09/05 to respond and show me proof my order has gone out. If i have not received anything by that time Paypal and the Ohio BBB will be contacted. If the total amount of my order is not refunded i will start to contact all customers they deceived and start to create a class action suti against this company.
Perhaps you should make sure you understand my comments before posting. I wish you the best with receiving your product in a timely manner.

47 Days have passed and for the last week and a half i have still received no word. I have made a complaint to Paypal and the Ohio BBB. Paypal has given them 10days and the Ohio BBB has given them 30-35 days.

what does that even mean? it is horrible english and punctuation, not very professional if you ask me. i recieved that email on the 26th, and the saturday mentioned would have been the 29th. we exchanged a couple emails with my displeasure with them charging me for something they didn't have (which is illegal). plus sending me fake tracking information. Their response was they were getting their site fixed up or something andt he tracking number was auto generated....i would think that usps would generate the tracking number...not them but anyhow.
here it is, Feb 10th, and i've sent probably an additional 5-6 emails since their last reply and have heard nothing, i have no idea what is the situation with my package. i am very close to just filling a claim through paypal to get my money back and take my business elsewhere.

I paid for an Xecuter 3, a day later, on June 2, I was told it would ship "in tomorrow's pickup." I waited, and waited for a shipment confirmation, and after 2 days of badgering them with emails (6th and 7th) they sent me tracking number, showing they didn't ship until the 7th.
From this experience, they seem to have unreliable service/support, and no commitment to customers.

I placed an order there before seeing this forum. I ordered a product that was supposedly in stock, but after placing the order, I'm informed its out of stock. So I've been waiting for a refund for 8 days. Three times I have been told, "sorry about the delay, I'll process your refund right now," but my paypal account shows no refund.
I also have a friend who they sent a bad xecuter, and it wouldn't work, even after trying to re-program with the programmer (another $30).

This was my first order from this company and I have had terrible results. I ordered a mod chip on Oct. 3rd. I recieved all emails and a tracking number as normal.... except... The product was shipped to some place in Latham, New York and I live in Austin, TX!!!!! I don't even know where Latham, NY is! I checked my information and it was all correct they just messed up.
I emailed them and got a very fast response indicating they they were out of chips and would ship one as soon as they arrived. After that nothing. No replies to any emails.
I will be filing a complaint with the Ohio BBB this week and disputing the charges.
I do not suggest doing business with these people.

I have been waiting almost 4 months for my 3 x2's. The HDD's came within a week. No responses to my 7 emails about the chips. I hope one of the thieves at The-Console-Corner reads this post because it isn't the last you will hear from me! Yes, I will spend thousands of dollars to sue you asses over $120.00 and have your company shut down so you can't screw anyone else. DO NOT order from the console corner. There homepage states that the chips are IN STOCK and will be shipping the 9th of Jan. and you will receive an email with a tracking #. A week later and not a damn thing. I placed my order on April 11/06, got an email April 12/06 saying it was shipped and had the tracking number.
The tracking number never worked, and I got my package today, April 25/06. Them bums shipped me the wrong item, I got a cold cathode fan. I emailed them a couple hours ago, no responce yet, and phone them 3 times no answer and it never went to a machine even after letting it ring at least 20 times.
This is not the first problem I've had a problem with them, back around mid Novemeber/05 I tryed to order an xecuter 2.6, they emailed saying it was shipped, end of december came and went, still no chip. I emailed them to complain, they told me they would give me points for the money I spent. That was fine, but I noticed the price of the chip went up. I emailed them to say I wanted more points because of that, and they did it. When I went to order the chip again I relezied that I did not get points for the shipping I paid. Sent off 2 emails about that, never got a responce. So thats when I decided to order the DouX because it was way cheaper and I had enough points to get it, the light and pay the shipping with a tracking number.
I have used they guys lots in the past. I've ordered 3 Xecuter 2.6 and 1 Qoob sx, all seperate orders and times, and all shipped fast and I got what I paid for.
The only reason I bought from them now was because I had the points, if they would have refunded my money I would have bought from another site. I recommened staying away from these guys as there service has gone down the toilet.

I made an order using PayPal for an X-Tender v2.0 Case Mod Kit back in January 27, 2006. They gave me the run around with a bunch of emails about delays for this item. I of course believed them and let it ride for a bit. They told me there were delays and my order would arrive soon (I have many, many emails to prove this!). They even said I could have a refund, as soon as I said YES please refund my money, there emails stopped. In hind site, they just prolonged the order so my 45 day guarantee with PayPal would run out. I have written them numerous emails, and they will not return any. I can still go into my account at there site and it still shows my item as QUEUED. But I think 6 months is too long to be queued. This particular item isnt back ordered with other sites. Even though the order was only $64.95, it pisses me off that they would steel money from us, while our site endorses them with reviews for there products. In case any Console Corner customer service peeps happen to read this, I would love to here from you. I hope who over see this thread will consider all the unhappy members and apply some pressure to The Consol Corner to make good with our orders or refund our money.

He has also recently filed bankrupcy yet still continues to do business. He also operates system-mods.com. DO NOT do any business with any of these companies or you will get ripped off. BTW, Mr. Filipiak said that he is not going to pay me the money he owes me or send my products. But hey, being sued by sony for 6 mil in a class action law suit and filing bankruptcy is payment enough for me. Hope thats working out for you Steve

I live in Washington state and have never moded before. I went out and bought a new Xbox. Pre 2003 serial. turned out to be a version 1.1 motherboard. I then found a web shop which had a good reputation and chose "The Console Corner". I bought the Xecuter 2 Pro and recieved it in 5 days. But I was worried I might screw up my new Xbox so I bought the Pogo 2 days later and recieved it in 4 days. I have since installed both and everything works. I want to give this site some feedback that matters. I recommend them 100%.

this guy is a clown. don't even think about buying the Controller S from this guy. I just received mine in the mail. If you go to his website, he lists the thing as "from MS" when in actuality, it's a knockoff of the real thing it came in a plastic bag for crying out loud! there's no brand on it, and the buttons are of horrible quality. That kind of advertisement is false and should be illegal. Plus, none of the stuff come in any kind of official packaging because it's all knockoffs.

I bought a X2 Lite Plus from them and got it 5 days from the day I ordered it. They are a very good site and #1 for mod chips in my book. If you order from the console corner you wont regret it.

Some problems with my order from here. Here is how it plays out.
06/04/2003: Placed order. Paid $88 for 2 X2.1 Lites and $14 for priority shipping.
06/06/2003: Date order was supposed to be shipped. Was not.
06/07/2003: Spoke to Console Corner and they said they couldnt get to the post office. Also... I mentioned the price drop on the chip. They offered me the difference. I told them to keep the difference and to ship the chip to me overnight on Monday 06/09/2003 (they said they could ship it overnight for an additional $9). They agreed.
06/10/2003: No package... They said they sent the order on 06/09/2003 via Priority mail. They said they would refund the difference... which I don't know how much that will be.
Overall... not a good experience. I purchased these chips from them because I needed them for a install today, forgoing the higher price for the chip and the expensive Priority Shipping. Now... I had to cancel my appointments for the installs today and wait on this package that will most likely arrive Thurs or Fri. Oddly enough... I placed another order with System-Mods yesterday 06/09/2003 for some Installs I have this weekend and the order was shipped out yesterday with a tracking number. Also... I only paid $8 for 3-day Fedex shipping. What urks me is that I paid over $100 for the chips from Console Corner and the chips I bought for $88 from System-Mods will be here sooner.
Update: I'm recieving a $9.80 refund. I think this covers the difference in the chip prices that changed over the course of the weekend.

Yes you are right, not only do they charge four dollars (absurd) but their three day shipping is about eight dollars, while USPS 2 Day Priority is only 3.85.... I know there are some benefits like tracking and insurance (I believe) but it would be nice to have the option between USPS and UPS....
I did not contact them but I would certainly think their answer would be more polite and tactful.....
And again this is not really just about the fees, it's more about the sarcastic and rude attitude....

I'm glad I didn't buy from this place, I would strongly discourage people from buying from here....
It's one thing to charge a handling fee, while I don't agree with it it's certainly somewhat understandable, but how can you over charge for shipping, and then ship it using a lesser method than what you charged for ? There's just no excuse for that....
I'm glad you got your chip but you should have had it by Friday, or Saturday at the latest, at least according to what you paid for....
i recieved my x2.1lite today ordered last wednesday, chip was in working condition. Site owner answers emails very quickly and with decent support. my only complaint is also the priority mail charge, considering it said 1.50 shipping on my package. But ohwell i paid for the chip, i got the chip in good condition so i am a satisfied customer.

How about my case... I paid $14 for priority shipping.
i suppose you are right i got screwed out of almost $5 but its better than not recieving a chip. i wont order a chip from them anymore because of the shipping fiasco . but just want to tell people even tho they screw you on shipping they will send the chip. im a patient person so i can deal with it. I can understand other people getting irked if they paid $5 for shipping and only got first class
All I have to say is I wish I had looked you up first... I put an order in to system mods and paid for 3 day select and their lovely upcharge on handling now there shipping it late so it won't get here for the weekend, and there order tracking is a joke, they have no idea whats going on and can't answer even the simplest questions on the phone.. needless to say I know where Im going for my next purchase!

I ordered mine on a Friday ond had it the next Wednesday. The item arrived safe, the packing was OK, did not take a long time to arrive, but it chaps me that I was hosed on the shipping charge. I do not mind a buck or 2 for packaging charges, but if you say you are shipping Priority, then if you want me to buy something from you in the future you had better use Priority.
I also was going to use googleshack, had some good Emails from them, but I wanted mt chip asap, and googleshack's inventory on 2.1's is't up yet.
In short...
1. Got my chip
2. Chip works great
3. Tracking worked
4. Shipping fiasco will probable "send" me to another seller

I ordered my stuff on Monday June 9th, got an email that day stating that it will ship on the 10th. I also purchased Priority. The tracking number I got hasn't been in USPS's system at all (always says they have no record of this item).
This will be the 4th day so that's outside of the 2-3 day request. If it was backordered, that's fine but a email stating so would have been nice, 400 emails a day or not, keeping people informed will buy you days.
I honestly think Console Corner is a good place to buy stuff from, there is just some work to be done on the shipping side. I'm not even worried about the shipping prices. I mean you can't honestly complain about the price of shipping, it IS stated before you confirm your order. If you don't like what the amount is, then don't purchase from them.
It's just all this "I purchased Priority and got First Class" that really bugs me. At that point your paying for a service that you did not recieve and that's a real key defense if anybody actually takes some action against it.
Console Corner, great site, you have lots of stuff that people want, just get the shipping right and you won't be able to pull the money in fast enough. And as you state in your website, you could jump into a big pile of boobies! ha!
You can complain if you purchase faster shipping and it still ships slowly.

Ok, here is the whole deal. Puts a much better light on this website.
After a week of ordering it, I took the advise that I email him and ask him about it. Turns out one of my items was out of stock when I ordered and it came in the same day I emailed him about it. This is either the right timing or a forgotten order, I will give the benefit of the doubt to the Console Corner.
Anyways, he said he shipped it out Monday (June 16th) and to expect it on Wednesday (June 18th). Low and behold in my mailbox it sat. And it was sent priority, like I asked.
This has renewed my faith in ordering again, just this time I will go into it knowing that the website isn't updated to the minute with the on-hand inventory.
So, I got my stuff, everything was working 100%. It was packaged VERY well, and they are the cheapest I have found on a lot of things. Check them out. If your not in a hurry and don't mind the possibility that they are out of stock, then I have no problems recommending this place.
Well I ordered a Xecutor 2.1 PRO on the 11 of June and they sent me an email a day later with a USPS tracking number. I tried out the tracking number and to this day June 21 the tracking number still doesn't work.
Please someone clear this up for me I was reading on the website that if you pre ordered a Xecutor 2.1 PRO they will be holding your order a little longer because the new Xecutor 2.2 PRO just got released and instead they will ship you the Xecutor 2.2 PRO . I also saw if you don't want to wait for the new Xecutor 2.2 PRO to be in stock you can just email them to ship you the Xecutor 2.1 PRO when is instock on the 24 of June.

Im from australia and will be making a purchase from console-corner soon.... I am gonna order by the cheapest possible shipping(doesnt matter if it takes 2 weeks to get to me really....i guess i can be patient) but i just hope i get it... I dont see the point in paying for expensive shipping as he will probably send it via cheap shipping anyway... Other then that i have sent him emails and he seems very reasonable he said he would repackage items to make the shipping cheaper if i wished(i plan on ordering a dance pad which comes in a big box)...

I ordered the X2.1 Pro on Saturday night. It got shipped on Monday and it got here today. I am very pleased with the service, except when i went to USPS to track it, the only info that has showed up is that it was accepted in Elyria. Otherwise I am very happy.

The tracking #'s are not bogus, they just take awhile to activate, check the tracking number again and you will see that it says it has been delivered.

Ub3, or anyone else, please reply if you get a response. I've emailed them on Monday as well about the Xecutor2.2 Lite+. At this point, I am no longer worried about the $10 more to get the non plus version and just get the pogo pin connector. They seem to be having a problem responding to emails. Lets just hope they are busy. I also tried sending feedback to them, but that results in an error message saying their server needs Front Page extensions installed, so I emailed there web master letting him know.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon. I want XBMP.
I ordered a Xecuter 2.2 Lite Plus from them too and I read on there news that they wouldn't be coming in until the 21st so I guess I'll just wait but dont worry.
they screw up my order (good tracking #) but i return it and it took them 3 weeks to send me the correct items (with bad tracking #) but they compensated me after all of my annoying emails with a free X2 Pro (but i think they were just trying to get rid of the X2 Pros to make room for the new X2.1,2.2 stocks.
I sold my free x2 pro and i'm happy.
I'm sure they try not to mess up and I would buy from then again.

But after 1 day of playing i found out that my 3 years old nephew is really like hitting my xbox like a box.
And so the pogo-pin will come loose
it loose connection with the D0 and LPC
so i have to aligned it again...
after 3 times aligning it again and again
i decided to do the cable solder install
since i think it will be more secure and reliable
i'm a noob at soldering
but i found no problems installing the cable solder install
now the mod-chip will no longer come loose no matter how hard you hit my xbox.

I ordered from this store a while ago. I ordered a pogo. I never did get it to work but I did get it in a somewhat timely fashion (power blackout, not console-corners fault) I would highly recommend these guys and would not hesitate doing business with them again.

you say xbit is the first chip with v1.0 - v1.5 support - well thats not lies thats stupidity - you'll find ALL chips with lframe mod is completely compatible. Its a bios change not hardware. Congrats on showing your customers just how much you dont know about what you are selling them.

Better than the crap I have been going through with Master-Mods.com and xbox-modchips.com.. As of today I still have not recieved either order from them and it's been over 2 months.
Read the forums, every vendor has some problems.. but atleast this one doesnt rip you off.

Ordered an Aladdin Advance 64 chip and received a 32 chip...which didn't work. No instructions included, no information on bios, nothing. They said they must have accidentally sent me the wrong chip. Sent it back and they sent me a 32 chip again, which also didn't work. Emailed them one more time and said it still didn't work. Promised me an Xecuter lite in exchange and gave me a tracking number that hasn't changed in 6 days. Previous numbers were updated nightly. A couple of days after Lite was promised, another chip showed up in the mail and it was...you guessed it...another Aladdin 32 chip. As far as I know the lite is still coming, but after all I have read, I tend to believe that I wont be seeing it for a while. I don't know what's going on or why they feel like they have to deceive their customers about product and shipping. But, whatever you do, don't order the Aladdin advance. They don't have the 64 and they just plain do not work.
ordered thursday nite and order came in today. i did not expect to see it when i came home from work.
i am pretty mad that the day after i order a chip the price dropped.oh well..........

I've ordered from these guys twice in the past and both times they kinda slow on shipping. The first time I got a defective product and didn't have any problems exchanging it. They do have darn good prices though!

I placed my order with The Console Corner on Nov 18, 2003. I received order confirmation via email rather quickly from mypaysystems.com. The next day (Nov 19) I received an email listing my USPS tracking # and, amazingly, the order shipped that same day.
I had paid for Global Express Mail service which should have been an overnight shipment. When I returned home on the 20th I had expected to see the package, or at least a note from the USPS. When I saw neither I decided to call my local post office to track the package with more details.
I was told by the USPS rep that my order was shipped via Priority mail. I had paid for express which was a HUGE difference in price from priority (Priority is approx. $5 and Express is approx $20). Not only that, but the USPS rep also told me that the total postage paid by the shipper was $4.75. Needless to say I am very disappointed in this matter. Hopefully my chip will arrive tomorrow or Saturday thanks to the messed up shipping. I will be contacting TCC directly to request a full refund on shipping. I absolutely refuse to pay for a service which I did not receive. It appears that this is a frequent occurance with TCC based on the other messages here and I will not stand for being ripped off.
I'll be sure to update this info to indicate whether or not the product was received... and if it is the right product in the first place.
UPDATE: Received my XBit in working order on 11/21/03. I was also refunded the difference in shipping via PayPal. TCC may have made a mistake but they were quick to respond and very apologetic in their correspondance. I'd give them another shot in the future.

I received my Xbit via USPS Priority Mail today (11/20/03)
The Xbit was shipped in a standard USPS Priority envelope with no protective packaging other than the anti-static bag the Xbit is sealed in.
There does not appear to be any damage, and I'm pleased with the quick shipment!

Ok here is my embarrassing story buying a modchip...
On Nov. 12 I decided to buy a xbit for my xbox. I went googling and the site that came up was xbox-modchips.com, which had horribly high price of $63 for xbit tho in the home page it was only $52(somewhere around that). They also charged me $10 for shipping. I later realized that I paid way too high than I should have but I would be still be content if they could ship it out early.
What happened was I did get an email saying they began the proccessing my order with a link to their tracking page. I checked the page. There was nothing but Order ID. Not very interesting. What happened in the week after that was I checked the page every single day and it remained uninteresting--the blank page with order number. The product had not been shipped. I emailed them several times and got responses the second day(you have to wait a day for them to reply with a line or two; sometimes they don't reply) and was told that the chip was in back-order. I was furious because the home page of xbox-modchips.com clearly stated that it was in stock and apparently it was still "in stock" the whole time as stated in their website even when I was told the chip was in back-order. I requested refund and they were absolutely unresponsive about the refund. No email replies of any sort regarding my refund request was sent to me. I went to mypaysystems.com and request a refund and xbox-modchips.com apparently ignored my reqeust and didn't respond to it. Mypaysystems.com held the refund request for 48 hours for the site to respond.
Meanwhile I was very unhappy about my experience I wanted the chip pretty bad and wanted it before thanksgiving break...during which I got some time to install and enjoy it. Yet my plan got screwed up because of the damn site and I was not sure if I still had time to get the chip before thanksgiving.
Then I went to order from TCC since they've got pretty good reputation. I paid my paypal and guess what, I paid by paypal "eCheck", which is basically a bank transfer + paypal instant transfer..But the eCheck took four to five days to clear( I didn't know it beforehand), which means I had no chance of getting it before thanksgiving and after thanksgiving I will have finals and it would suck cuz I will not have any time for it. I really screwed myself up again because I paid $73+$56 and still didn't get what I wanted....
I instantly sent an email to TCC saying that I wanna cancel the order and reorder it by CC and have it ship overnight and remotely hoped, after the experience with xbox-modchips.com,that they would respond. Guess what? several mins later they responded!
I was literally 'chatting' to 'Steve' over email the entire last Wednesday and Thursday night s. He always respond several mins after I sent him email and that made me confident that I was dealing with a reputed vendor and a honest guy. So I went ahead bought another chip from them using CC. You have to know that it was that an easy decision. Why if he was another greedy seller ? I had bought two chips already. If my two refunds didn't pass thru I will end up with three xbits!I will blow money like nothing....
he sent it out last friday overnight and I got it indeed on saturday!
He also instantly refunded me when the eCheck was cleared. No pain. No delay in refund communication. He is VERY VERY responsive and regard a customer's need very highly.
Guys all I have to say is, if any thing goes wrong during a transaction with TCC. Do NOT panic. They will do everything to set it right. They can always rely on TCC. Personally I think any negative experience you can possibly have with them is out of their control. You will not be ripped off or ignored like a lot of sites in modchip scene.
200% recommended. TCC seriously has a human touch to it. Other sites feel like they are brick walls with no window.
You can't go wrong with them.

This company used to be good but are crap lately. I ordered a chip from this last march and it came within a week of ordering. I recently just ordered 2 more 2.3 pros pre ordered them in mid november only to have the date bumped up twice now he is saying they wont be in till january. So I changed my order to 2 2.3 lites and have waited over a week and still dont have the chips and the usps doesnt even show its shipped yet. My emails to the guy as to where my chip is and when i will recieve it have been in vain. He claims he shipped it yet a week later nothing. All his email responses are less then 1 sentence and dont answer your questions and he gets rude in them saying if i send more then 1 line nothing will get done around here. Well obviously he must be sending everyone novels because nothing gets done around there. Im done doing buisness with this guy for good. My worst expierance ever with online vendors and I use alot of them.

They take FOREVER to return emails, but yet I got the email that the chips that they were sending out did not work correctly and lo and behold....I got one of them! NOT HAPPY!!!! I just emailed them to ask for a replacement, we'll see how long that takes!
Ordered 3 X2.3 Lites on Dec. 2, got email on Dec. 3 stating that the chips have been shipped... still nothing. I'm in Canada, so perhaps the delay is normal but it has been well beyond 5-6 business days

We're all stuck waiting at this point. I ordered a 2.3 Pro back in November, and recently changed the order to 2 of the 2.3 lites (I think this was a week ago).
I got a tracking number on them, but it doesn't work so I'm doubting it's legit. But stranger things have happened.
This comes on the heels of like 7 friends ordering Xbits from Console-corner, and getting them within 3 or 4 days each (I know, I installed them). So I figured on reliability.
What I hear though is this isn't even Console-corner's fault, they can't ship what hasn't arrived, so to speak.
