I am posting two links. The guys at hdbeat.com set out to build a windows media center pc, then stream hd television to the 360 across their network. There have been a lot of people asking about how to stream video to their 360, and I want to point out that this is how to do it. Your computer has to be running the windows media center operating system. I thought the articles were interesting, but the second link is to a video of the final set up. I will be trying this at my house as soon as I can get a hold of a copy of windows media center.
*NOTES:
The 360 will not play Divx encoded files.
they used the computer as a DVR and stored the files to the hard drive of the PC

Awesome post, as far as the video of streaming HD to xbox 360 I couldn't find anything on the site on how they did it.
Did you notice this comment in the comments section of your second link, from a staff member!
7. We do ironic better than anyone Jeremy! In fact, our version of the Xbox 360 is already running Linux.
