Only time I have any problem with my DVDs is on a standard definition TV, on my High Def & LCD monitor it runs fine.

This is on my Panasonic PT-AE700 runnning 720p.
I'll call the support and see what they have to say.

According to the support folks the solution is to lower the resolution to 480p.
When selecting 480p the projector reports 525p and when I select 720p the DVD player uses 625p and games 750p.
This is very strange.

i just tried a DVD on my newly purchased 360 and it doesn't play DVDs in high def. Were some of you suggesting the 360 upsamples DVDs? I have a 1080i TV and I can attest that if I leave my television in 1080i dash, then play a movie, it will switch to 480p and totally skew the AR.

When I run my 360 in 720p (750p) mode the dvd-player switches to 625p and when I run the 360 in 480p (525p) the dvd-player uses 480p (525p). The dvdplayer works fine if I run the box at 720p.
