Title: Ripping Music To Hdd
Post by: Justincredibal on November 30, 2005, 07:55:00 AM
Alright, i want to put like 250 songs on my xbox cause i sold my ipod and i want to listen to my music on my box when i am playing games.

I want to know how to rip the songs from a dvd to the xbox360 since its so many and i sdont want to have to make like 8 cds

I have been trying to make an mp3 dvd but it the box reconizes it as a mixed media disc so it wont rip it.

GRRR

anyone found a way to do this?

i imagine the only way the 360 is going to rip things off of a disc if it is in the proper format.  since it won't recognize an mp3 dvd then maybe dvd-a?  i kinda doubt it would recognize dvd-a since it isn't really used and it wouldn't be a true dvd-a disc (sampling rates and such).  you can always use the app you can download if you're running xp pro sp2.  i forgot the exact name of the app but i think you can go to like xbox.com/pcsetup and it'll have everything there.

so far the only way to rip is off a cd not a dvd disc or a mp3 disc i guess it only read .wav.so i guess you can convert all the tracks to .wav then burn them to a dvd data disc and see what happens ill try that later this week and if it works make a thread about.
