Title: Halo 2 Games Through Xlink Playing Peek A Boo

i start the engine on my pc, use xbmc to pick the game im gonna play, boot up halo 2, go to system link, and the games are there for a few seconds and then disappear. WTF is going on? it happens every time. im really confused, normally i have 2 pick the top game, (cuz otherwise i cant pick any) very annoying problem.

idk if this will help at all, i ave a linksys wireless G router (not using wireless tho') and have a v1.6 softmodded xbox

join a private room on the left of kai and this won't happen ..

there's NO way of rectifying the situation?  maybe a new release of kai later down the road will fix it?
it's probably the refresh rate of the server list, but maybe have an option of changing the refresh rate to, say, twenty seconds, or a user-definable time rate?
I know it's possible to join private arenas, but sometimes (most times) it's easier to just set up in the public area, and then choose a room as ya go.
just a suggestion ...

its actually a bug in halo2 and the way it deals with the hosts .. bungie said a long time ago their not gonna fix it .. use private arenas anyway its better for lag ..

it dosent do that in live does it? sometimes the lag in halo 2 is unbearable, especially if theres 2 people playing on 1 xbox, three works ok but two lags my system BBBAAADDD

Yeah, mine does this to, I just go back to the player select menu and then to back to the join game screen.
