Title: Cant Chat On Communicator In Kai In Xbmc

i use XBMC as my dash and play kai through its interface. ive followed all the guides and can play and type chat normally. the only thing i cannot do is chat with my communicator, but this feature should be available.

does any1 know why it doesnt work?

steps

1. installed xbmc as dash
2. entered xlink tag and password
3. installed kai on pc and configured for dashboard only
4. loaded xbox and kai connected
5. added friends and chose voice
6. heard my mates speaking but they cant hear me.

absolutely everything else works on the xbox from streaming media to web browsing and rss feeds and weather. my communicator works in games perfectly. my settings for xbmc have mics enabled on all 4 controllers. but no voice chat. i am using the latest build of xbmc and i update it daily. i have tried it on several versions of xbmc to no avail.

please help!!

yeah pressing the mute button usually does it for me.
