well might i suggest using the PC UI.  you said you are using XBMC as a dashboard is that taking over the interface?  maybe thats part of your problem?

I am indeed using the PC UI - the fact that XBMC is my Dash is incidental.

same here, and i can go into the chat rooms and see people talking, but whenever I start the game I find no games being played. I have tried this with alot of games.

Rather confusing...

You don't see the games in XLink, you see other users that have marked themselves as hosts.

Ask some of the users if they can see your ping.

My friend just traded his xbox in for a repalcement this morning. The manufactured date of the new box is March 31, 2005. The box he had before worked fine on kai connected to his router with the engine on his laptop running XP. The new xbox will not see any games in system link (tried a few games.) But when I hook up another xbox it sees the games. Niether of those two boxes were modded. My xbox that is soft modded also saw the games.

The Kai engine doesn't care whether or not the Xbox is modified.
