That's what syslink is made for...

Systemlink does not care if the Xboxes are modded or not.

Most likely in the manual that comes with the Xbox.

If you want to connect two Xboxes you can link them directly with a crossover cable.

If you want to connect more then two Xboxes you must use a hub or switch.

If you got a dhcp server on the same hub/switch you might get some troubble. If you do, just config the dhcp and stop it from givig ips to the mac addresses on the xboxes, or set the number of ips given out to the number of computers you got in the network, so there will be no ips left for the xboxes.
