Title: Cannot Find X-link_new_mac.exe

A friend of mine has a Xbox with a 00-0D MAC Address in which Xlink RC2 is diligently filtering.  So he can't see his machine under "Local Xboxes" and we can't play.  I was reading previous threads about a replacment executable for xlink called x-link_new_mac.exe.  But the links to it at the Xlink homepage are broken.  Does anyone have this executable layin around or knows where we can get it.

hint hint....its the same thing, the update IS the new_mac exe file...

make sure he downloads the LATEST update (not one from 3 months ago or 2 months ago)

We downladed it (XLink Messenger RC2 .EXE Required Update) from the Xlink website last night and installed it but no joy.  He still can't see his Xbox under "Local Xboxes".  Is there anything else we have to do?  <

easiest thing?

both switch to kai, since we are going to get rid of rc2 anyway...

Well we found the problem.  My friend was up until like 3AM screwing with this thing and here was the deal.  In Xlink Under Advanced Settings he had to set up his IP address to match Xlinks DHCP servers and then change his Ip address and subnet on his XBOX to match.  I personaly didn't have to do this but hey what ever works.  Thanks for the help and info guys...  <
