2 things,
1.) Do you see a "Local Xbox" show up when u *look* for syslink games on your xbox? Something like 0050F2223232. If not, you may have to Config -> Change network adapter, or fiddle around with winpcap.
2.) If ure only using Halo, be aware that there are subregions of PAL - which dont work together. Would recommend using anything other than Halo or Brute Force for testing.
If this doesnt help, make an xtest (tool in pinned topic) - and post it in reply to this.

That test checks out fine.. no problems there..
Are you using version 2.2.4 EXE (pinned topic) ?
Also, theres nothing lingering in the "processes" list on ure PC is there? like msblast.exe or kazaa.exe or something??
Failing that, if you have a firewall, try with it turned off - briefly - to see if thats the problem.. A few others are reporting laggy play with zonealarm etc.
