Nice of you to offer Valius but its a bit of a moot point now, as testing will be for Xlink RC2, and that version will be redundant once RC3 has finished its Beta cycle.

but perhaps we can get some "testing" done on Kai, (and by testing i mean playing.)

I can show how usless i am at Rainbow Six.

I know how usless you are at R6!!LOL!!

Game on laugh.gif  Matzy & I seem to have a lag free connection + we both have a number of Xbox's on our lan's so it makes for a good game of R6.

So far & I think I speak for everyone whene I say Kai gets an A+++++++++++++++++

If there are any other LAN players in the UK that have 3+ Xbox's & a fast connection post your details or PM me, a 16 player game of R6 lag free would be a dream come true.

Cacheing, and all the tuning options are used to make tweaks to the packet stream.. it works well / badly depending on the game.. just leave it turned off until i get the list up on the web showing which games work well with it.

I wish there was something I could do to help you guys.

Heh.. thx smile.gif

The best way to help XLink is simply to play on it smile.gif ... The second best way is to go in rooms mode and host something which there are no servers for - we want ppl playing a good variety of games etc...

TD

I see.

Yeah, I went home at lunch and started a dedicated unreal server, just cuz.

Besides, I wont be there, so someone might as well be using it...

Perhaps, we could organise a testing team to see what games work well with/without packet caching.

need a few people who have a lot of system link enabled games.

Unless this feature is going to be omited / redundant in the Kai release.
