i am looking to buy a wifi adapter for my xbox.  My main priority isnt playing online but setting up a connection with my laptop to transfer files.  i tried file transfer with a crossover and couldnt get any luck even though i used flashfxp and changed ip addresses.

i am using a modded box with avalaunch and i have a wirless network in my home via my friend next door.

what would be the best wifi adapter for playing online and easy setup with ftp.

ps i tryed multiple tuts for the crossover cable but i cant figure it out.

please help me with this decision

make sure to get a wireless bridge that can assign multiple IP's (one with a built in switch) that way
you can plug your lap top and xbox in to it otherwise FTP will be very slow (xbox wireless to the router and then wireless back to the PC)
