So I got my new stock drive working today that I replaced with the eeprom because I was banned. When I got on Live with Halo I was presented with the new update download so I downloaded that and then went to download the maps. After downloading them I went back to Halo and when I signed in to live a message popped up that said the downloaded content did not download correctly, please download it again. When I went to download it again they all download except the Maptacular Pack which stops downloading right at the beginning and says 'Installation of content failed. see www.xbox.com for more support information.' I went into my hard drive memory and deleted the whole Halo save and tried again with the same result. Can anyone help me out?

Well you could always get the cd with the maps, but if you dont want to do that, what are your connection speeds? do you usually have problems with live or is this a first? I dont know how to really help with something like this. I'm sure your Hdd isnt formatted wrong since you can get on live, so it has to be something with live. did you get the 1.1 update for halo? I think the maps require it. Like I said the cd might be a last resort.

I formatted to factory using Slayer's again and the maps downloaded fine.
So I'm not sure what the problem was but it works now. Thanks for the help!
