Title: Xbox Live And Modding
Post by: Foodaloo on June 14, 2006, 10:54:00 AM
Okay, my older brother got his Xbox modified I am pretty sure it was a soft mod and it was using the 007 exploit (i think). He gave it to me cuz he had to go to uni. I want to connect to Xbox live but have heard that some games can detect whether your Xbox is modded. Which games can do this and is there any way to stop the soft mod while i go on live?

I am a noob so be gentle with me.

If can't disable that mod then ...no you can't go on live or get banned.  The one major disadvantage about a softmod is not being able to shut it off for those without a switch.  The bios as well will still be loaded into memory and can be detected.  I would take that mod off and go with a standard set up in order to stay ban free.
