Title: Connecting Xbox Live Through Laptop
Post by: poopshakes on May 08, 2006, 10:51:00 AM
I am trying to use the wireless connection on my laptop to connet to xbox live.  I have researched it, and tried everything mentioned.  I have the crossover cable connected to the ethernet port, and the wireless and ethernet connection bridged.  Whenever it is bridged, xbox won't connect because a dns was not found.  Also, when it is bridged, I can't access any web pages.  What can I do to be able to connet to live with my wireless laptop and be able to look at web pages while the connections are bridged and enabled?

try setting your DNS manually, check your router settings and see what the DNS servers are
