Title: Unsure Why Banned
Post by: lordvader129 on January 05, 2006, 11:20:00 AM
negative feedback on Live can cause MS to flag your gamertag, and with a flagged GT a large HD will get you banned

new virgin eeprom, unbanned stock HD, and your back on Live

Hmm, that sucks.  I don't think I did anything to gain negative feedback, I think I logged a max of about 2 hours on Halo2 and that's about it.

Oh well, I need the bigger HD in there so I guess I get an EEPROM, new HD and new gamertag...bleh.  Sucks because I waited so long to get on Live b/c I was worried exactly this would happen.  Maybe its time to just get a seperate box for Live.

I got a day ban for bad feedback, and then afterwards my box with the large hard drive was banned. If I swap in my old retail stock drive and upload a new eeprom, will i be good even with my old gamertag?

yep, that will work
