Title: Quick Eeprom Question That I Couldn't Find In The Stickies

Don't believe so my friend.  I've purchased multiple eeprom's over the last 2 years, and the first question that most sellers would ask is: "v1.0-1.5  or  v1.6?"

My guess is that the v1.6 is much different some how.  My suggestion, shell out the $7-10 on the BST forum and buy a v1.6.  Not too expensive, and guaranteed to work without getting the 8 gig hdd banned

damn alright ya thanks for the reply.  it just would've been so easy if i could've used this one... lol i guess the world just doesn't work like that.  anyway thanks again man looks like i'm gonna shell out the 10 bucks to zodiac.
