Title: Reinstalling/readying Stock Drive For Live
Post by: deltaqueue on August 09, 2005, 01:46:00 PM
I tried upgrading my hdd and reflashing a virgin, version-matching eeprom, but stupidly copied my entire stock hard drive over to the new one (apparently the TDATA might be linked with teh previous eeprom).

Basically, I got banned, and can no longer put a large hard drive in the box (while going on live) since my GT is flagged. Fortunately, I still have my stock hard drive , and saved my stock eeprom. My question is, how do I go about reflashing the old eeprom config file to the stock hard drive since I need to FTP the config file to the DATA folder in config magic? How can I rip the Config magic folder to a stock hard drive (to be able to copy the eeprom file to the data folder) if it doesn't have any applications on the hdd to do so?

If anyone could make sense out of that, I applaud you, but the answer probably isn't that complex.

Jason

First of all do you have a mod chip??? Second of all if you dont you will have to use an exploit of some sort on your Stock HD to reflash your Xbox to you orginal EEprom. Seeing how your question gave me A.D.D. temporarily thats all i got out of your question. In order for us to make a good answer for your question we need to know if your using a mod chip or not.

I apologize for the lack of clarity.

I'm using a version 1.3 xbox with an Xecuter 3 CE. I was previously on xbox live before I modded the box. I figured "reflashing the eeprom" gave away the mod chip, but assumptions don't get anyone anywhere.

Thanks for responding
