Hi,

the answer is yes, you can use the 12 month code to add an additional 12 months to your current gamertag, as well as use it to create a new gamertag.

for example, make an account on 1 jan 2005 using a 2 month trial, it renews on 1st march 2005, but inputting a 12 month subscription from a starter kit could extend this to 1 march 2006
