Title: Headset Drivers...
Post by: edwinmcdunlap on March 04, 2005, 05:38:00 PM
I have an Xbox-to-PC controller adapter, with the XBCD drivers. I was wondering if there are any drivers out there for the Xbox Live headset, so you can use it on your PC. I plugged it in and it came up as a "USB Device", and wanted me to search for/select a driver. Anyone know anything?

I downloaded the XBAudio drivers, but where the hell are they? I checked %SystemDrive%\Program Files\XBAudio for the drivers though the new hardware installation wizard in XP (like the readme said), but the only files put there by the installer package are the readme, a shortcut to redcl0ud's page, and an uninstaller. I'm pretty sure there should be another file, but I don't know where that driver was put, if it was even installed in the first place.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I found the drivers in the folder for XBCD "C:\Program Files\XBCD\Source Code\Driver" but theproblem I am having is that the system keeps turning downt eh volume on the speaker and mic, this happens instantly after turning upt he volume. any ideas?
