Title: MS Is Gay....
Post by: manobano on February 27, 2005, 10:48:00 AM: i recently got banned after switching hdds from my original live hdd. figured eh, screw it ill just play halo2 on xbc. anyways i recently put my old original hdd back in and updated my xbox with a new virgin xbox eeprom just for the hell of it. to my surprise it worked and i was back on live. it was such a big surprise because this wud totally go against the marriage theory. so me and my friend go out and buy a brand new copy of halo2, open 2 live accounts and start playing (this is all yesterday by the way). then today we get back on and it still works fine.......until the first time we logout and try to log back in; "Your XBOX has been illegally modified"

GAY

i thought i had it all figured out........i thought i had beaten MS and was able to get back on live without a new hdd. boy was i wrong. fucking MS and bungie are a bunch of homos. i guess its back to xbc and xlink for now.

Your current banned HD cannot be edited to change the HD key. Sorry.

Post by: manobano on March 02, 2005, 05:02:00 PM: that what i suggested to my friend (its his xbox) but he didnt wanna fuck with it anymore so we just went to a local gamestop and bought a brand new xbox. coincidentally out of the 3 walmarts, 2 targets, and 4 eb games that told us they were completely out of xbox systems, the local gamestop down the street from my house had 3 brand new systems. we had a new one within 20 minutes of calling them, go figure.

They only want people with unmodded XBoxes on XBox Live, can you really blame them? Maybe if you weren't a stupid n00b you wouldn't have gotten banned. I was one of the people experimenting to prove the marriage theory, I read the forums everyday until I knew what to do, and I haven't been banned for 6 months. You are blaming MS, calling them gay, yet it was you who didn't research the topic properly. What you should have done is flash your EEPROM first, and then install the new hard drive. And as far as the shortage of XBoxes that seems weird, I can't go to a store without seeing an XBox.
