Title: How Live Is Banning Based On Experience
Post by: camcar on January 10, 2005, 12:24:00 PM
Ok I have had my xbox since december of 03. Any way I joined live the day Halo2 came out. I modded my box about 4 months before Halo 2 came out.  Any way I have been playing on live now since Halo2 came out with my 160GB HD and a xenium chip, no prob. I am on almost every night.  Anyway on saturday I wen ta bought a new 200GB HD from staples and gave my 160 to my cousin.  On sunday I was on live for one hour and quit.. Tried to get on live and got the infamous mod error.  So I am pretty positive since the same thing happened to my friend with an X3 when he changed his HD, that being banned is all soley based on changing your configuration after youve already been on live.  I am about to change boards with my cousin and keep the 200GB in there and see if I can get back on since itll be the fist time that configuration will have been on live everything should be ok. well see
