There is a wealth of information here and a lot of theories about the recent bannings. I got banned when I upgraded my hard drive. I just purchased a new EEPROM. Before I use it I need to know if a new EEPROM and HDD key is all that is needed to keep from getting banned again. From what I understand, if the hdd key is the original one that goes online with an EEPROM then that hdd key is the valid hdd for that system as far as they are concerned. If I am mistaken please let me know.
