*NOTE*
Just installing new hard drive will not work it will just say network error and that hdd will now be banned too, and just changing your EEPROM will not work, you will just get a delayed ban of 12 hrs again. and i would suggest changing all EEPROM info not just the hdd key or online key. also if you are installing a non stock hdd you must also make a new gamer tag because you original gamer tag will be flagged and they will see your hdd model and serial# and know what size hdd you have.Any Questions post here i will check every day or so.

so you are saying you used same hdd and new EEPROM and you got unbanned, please let me know when you did this cause this is the new security xbox live has come out with. also Are you currently banned or are you online?

read the first post then check the last page for Angerwounds comments to me on his status.
I was banned 2 weeks ago waited for new eeprom and got back on sunday and was playing this morrning (Tuesday) B4 I left for work. I'm not saying I wont be banned when I get home, I'm saying is nobody but Bill Gate$ know what M$ is doing.

and its cookies on ya partition table is why ya HDD is locked to the eeprom .. its a local thing not sever... and this is how ya would upgrade ya HDD if people want to now
the ONLY thing we DONOT KNOW is HOW they detect ya big HDD if ya GT is flagged..
is it they have a list of HDD serials they've used ?? VERY unlikly !
do they just check ya free space on F .. maybe !
do they actually query the HDD properly ? i ecpect so !!
#so then could we fake this info and be able to fool tehm ?
probably not, because we dont 100% know what method there using !

its definately nothing to do w/ F:\. I didn't make an F:\ and was still banned.
its not any data check. It has to be an information thing. IE: Manufacturer, Serial Number, HD size.

You DO NOT need to do a low level format of the drive. I NEVER have and have stayed unbanned after almost 50 bans and 2 account terminations. A new HDD Is not needed nor does it cause a problem. Just create a new Gamertag, wipe the drive, and flash a fresh eeprom. (AND DON"T DO WHATEVER GOT YOU BANNED IN THE FIRST PLACE!)

its that people get confused.. bacuse of other factors ..
like flagged GT, not doing eeprom proberly
eeprom had actually been on live before
etc ...
its plain and imple how ya get back on with a new GT..
even easy how to upgrade ya HDD even if ya been on live already with stock ETC ..
the only thing we DO NOT know. and CANNOT do is get back on with bigger HDD, and a FLAGGED GT ...

I will NOT need a new HDD, just keep the old one... Just re-do the sectors/partition tables? That's all? How will i do this?

but i expect u meant deleted everything on that partition, and not actualy formated to the point u need to rebuild the hdd .... (like u would a new hdd)
but thats the bit i meant .. how did u cleanse ya HDD ??
(as all the LLF is BS i agree ! just a rebuild of partition table is required)
