I have just recently installed an X3 and an 80 gig harddrive into my 1.6 xbox. I have been reading about the Live bannings and I have obtained a new eeprom and hd key and was wondering if you could first, put them on a 1.6 and with what program because configmagic final dosen't work for the 1.6. Or When you backup your original hd and you create that backup folder with those 5 files could you just swap the new eeprom and hd key and ftp those over to the xbox. I just want to be able to access live and get updates to mainly halo 2.
I was also wondering if you could access live with a unmodded xbox, download any updated files, copy files from hd to memory card, and load the memory card onto the modded xbox and have the updates.
I did this with the new halo 2 files and put them on a memory card but I get them to load onto my modded xbox.
