I was trying to figure out why my xbox would not connect to Live since my error code was not for modified hardware. I put the stock HDD back in and it gave my a modified hardware error. I bought a new eeprom and am going to use my new HDD that I put in there. The drive has never been able to access live so I am going to give it a shot and see what happens. I know that I will probably get banned but it did update my livedash when i installed the new eeprom. It shouldn't recognize the hdd since it never even connected to live. Any feedback would be appreciated....I will update as soon as I get a 2 month trial so that I can connect (using different gamertag than original)
