I have another possible theory on these XBL bannings going on.
When you are running off a stock ms bios it does not even have the capability to see the F/G drives created by modded bioses because basically the bios is what creates the drive read tables unlike a normal pc which stores it on the hard drive FAT or MFT. Now if this holds true it would be impossible for MS to see games or anything for that matter stored on F/G partitions. From reading some of the other posts it looks like people are being banned with XBL accounts that have been run from the stock drive and the upgraded drive, meaning that MS scanned the HD serial and eeprom information and stored that information. Now as of Nov 8th they are taking HD serial and eeproms that don't match with what they have and banning them or making them unable to connect. This is very similar to the way that Windows XP activation works by taking your Product Key and Hardware ID (generated by a few system component id's) and putting those in a database. MS is definately a creature of habit when it comes to their security measures so this seems to be a likely issue.
I created this thread because it seems the other threads are becoming very congested with irrelevate posts to the core issue. So please post only the following:
Xbox Version (if known):
Xbox Live account setup harddrive: stock/upgraded
Xbox Live current hard drive: stock/upgraded
Modchip Model:
Bios(es):
