Title: How Do I Keep My Xbox Live Account?

I have my Xbox modded with an Aladdin Chip that can be turned OFF/ON..I upgraded my hard drive to a 160gb and wanted to keep my Xbox Live Account..I though all I had to do was transfered the UDATA and TDATA folder over to the new hard drive but when I go to the Xbox live account its says my tag is already in use...Do i have to transfer something else?
