Title: Banned, Recovering Live?

Ok I was dumb and got banned, my fault. I picked up a new eeprom, now i'm having trouble with my live account. I updated the eeprom using the tutorial at the nop (nice work shana). But my xbox live account is now not on my xbox. I tried account recovery, but i'm just getting some connection errors. Anyone have some advise?

Here's some more info in case this helps you figure out what's going wrong. In the MS dash if I click on the "live" tab I get to choose new account or account recovery. my screen name is gone.

If i choose account recovery, I get "could not connect to xbox live'. So i choose to troubleshoot the connection.
It detects my cables, my ip settings, my DNS, but it won't connect. didn't have this problem yesterday when I wasn't banned.

If you have a memory unit..

Put old EEPROM back on XBox.
Go to memory in MS dash, copy Live account to memory unit.
Put new EEPROM back on Xbox.
Transfer account from memory unit back to Xbox.

Other than that, keep on trying to connect.

Well I can't get this too work. Im I able to call MS and ask them for help or are they going to give me shit because my xbox has been banned???

Ok guys this is where I'm at. See if you know what I should do.

I talked to customer service for 30 minutes going through everything they could think of to get me connected again. Nothing worked. At the end of the phone call the guy had me check my XYZ codes. He said the x and Z was fine, but my Y was wrong. They are going to call me back with some more help, but I'm assuming i'm just going to get yelled at because i was banned.

Is there a way to correct this?

Here are my current Wxyz settings

W: 0000-000b
X: 0000-f021
Y:  00c2-03E0
Z: 0000-0000

The last one has an x and then it take me to an error screen it is an "network error"

I have tried all the different network/router/xbox connections and rebooting the cable modem that you could think of. I even get it when I go directly from the modem to the xbox.

Right I was having the same problem, I just got another Eeprom and I was fine.

I am having this EXACT same problem! Here is my scenerio, I am using autoconfig for everything, and my box hooks up to a 4 port switch/router. I was able to connect to live orig, but after installing mod, when I try to connect, it cycles the wires + ip + dns but hanges on "xbox live not found". I checked my xyz's twice

W: 0000 - 000B
X: 0000 - F001
Y: 00C2 - 0022
Z: 0000 - 0000

then

#2
W: 0000 - 000B
 X: 0000 - F001
 Y: 00C2 - 0062
 Z: 0000 - 0000

Can anyone tell if I'm going to be banned, or if I've been banned? Anything!? I should be able to connect since the second part of "y' doesn't start with "6". Right?! Please anyone give some suggestions, I already purchased an eeprom, just in case.

p.s.

when connecting to xbox live, what do I do when I see no "S/N" in the connection window?

If you have been banned you will get a pop up saying that modified hardware has been detected. Thats how you know.

anyway I cant get past Ip settings resolved it says unable to get DHCP or something like that. I'm using ICS on XP
