Title: Eeprom Serial?

There is more to the EEPROM than your serial and MAC. There is also a HD key and an online key (not Xbox Live gamertag)

And, MS has the database of proper serials. You can't just make a serial up, and expect it to match with MS and the MAC that belongs with the serial.
