Title: Xbox Live
Post by: Ill187 on June 26, 2003, 11:24:00 PM
If I have an Xbox with a live account. Then I copied that eeprom over to another xbox, would that xbox be able to go live for free? Would they be able to go live at the same time?

blink.gif Well which is it? Banned notbanned banned notbanned.
So no go on the two working by themselves at different times? and going online with both at the same time is the only time the copybox will work, but both get banned? Is that what you meant?

I don't know what Armageddon was talking about but...

You can use your Xbox Live account on more than one Xbox. BUT, you can only use it once at a time. If another Xbox tries to use the account when the account is already active, that Xbox will be banned.

I knew it had to be something like that. But why wouldn't both of them be banned? I guess just incase someone guesses the eeprom you own you shouldn't be blammed for it.

i thought he said something about using the same eeprom for 2 xbox's then taking them both online.  what i said is that if MS catches you, (2 xbox's using the same eeprom), that eeprom will be banned.

as for what you say, no, you can use the account on more than one xbox, just one at a time.  i used XBL on my friends system with no problem.

shanafan, you're a fo0.

i was correct.  this is what the guy wrote:

"would that xbox be able to go live for free? Would they be able to go live at the same time? "

and that's exactly what i said he'd be banned for.

So two friends could use one Xbox Live account on two xboxes? Cool.

yeah, just hope you don't both go on at the same time, or it's a cancellation of your account.

yes, but only if both of you go online at the same time.

You answered both of the questions at the same time. Do you understand that? You were technically WRONG, since going Live at the same time will result in a banning. But then again you already knew that.

You should have edited your original post instead of talking out of your butt.

Do you see the contradiction? You can use the same eeprom on EVERY XBOX EVER MADE and go live with it. shanafan's answer is correct and to the point.

no, if you both go online at the same time with the same eeprom, the eeprom and account will get banned.

if you go online with each xbox having its own eeprom, just your XBL account will be disconnected.

but if you don't go on at the same time, and you use the same eeprom, XBL will think it's just the same xbox.  but still, you guys go on at the same time, and you're fucked.

i was never wrong, so i will not edit anything.  read what i wrote, faggot.
