Title: Xbox Live With Matrix

I was wondering how can I connect to XB live without getting benned. I run all my games off my HDD so I could sell all my games. I have know discs to play. If I take out my modchip then my Xbox errors out so I need my chip in. What do I need to do to fix this.

You have to have the original game (the one you have to buy) and have the modchip off or out. You cant play them from the harddrive and play on live at the same time.

If you switched out your hard drive then you need to lock it to use the original bios. You can lock it using config magic or eepromer, either way its pretty simple.

And if you want to play any games on live then you are just gonna have to buy the game and use the disc.

EDIT: You might also want to install an external switch if you don't want to open up your xbox everytime you need to switch the matrix off. It's fairly simple.
