There are a number of players in Australia on Xbox Live and most report a good connection to the US servers. They just ordered the pack from US and used an American postcode when registering (all other details real).  90210 is a favourite!

What I wanna know though is will it be ok to play with the pal xbox game though because it will be logging on to the us server thats in seattle i think? So will it be ok for me to just use my pal unrel championship on my american bought starter kit when I'll be logging on to an american server or will it block me?
Thanks

Well, I can't speak from personal experience - but I know of several Aussie Xbox owners who are happily playing on the US servers.

There is no distinction on Xbox live between PAL and NTSC - users of the different systems can play against each other. (just do a web search and you will find lots of info about non-US players connecting to US Xbox Live servers).

Ok,

NTSC Xbox Live Starter Kit should work in PAL Xbox then? What kind of software is included in the pack? If there are games and other DVD's in the pack they must also be NTSC which means that the games will most certainly NOT work in PAL box.

The few online demo games are really not the problem, but do you need something else from the DVD's to make XBL work. What I have heard is that only the activation code is needed.

Someone who has Live - please answer this.

Thanks
