Title: Do I Need To Fit A Switch To Use Xbox Live?

Ok I just got cable internet, and I want XBOX Live!!! but do I need to fit a switch to my Xecuter? I guess my question is... do I have to turn my chip off in order to play on xbox live? because I know some games "nuke" ur evox. please explain

why do I need to have evox on a cdrw to play LIVE? or are u just sayin for when I wanna play a burnt game?

You need to put EvolutionX on a CD because since you have the X-ecutor1, it will always boot xboxdash.xbe. If you installed EvolutionX on your HD, and your modchip is off, your Xbox will not boot properly because xboxdash.xbe is not the MS dash. So, your MS dash has to be xboxdash.xbe

To make your CD, just put EvolutionX's default.xbe on the CD and that's it. You can keep your evox.ini, skins folder, etc on the HD because the CD will automatically find those.
