i have a new project im working on, so i need to know, cuz i have an easy way of going on xblive w/ matrix and x2.

Well, yes you can use a Matrix modded Xbox on Live, but it has to be off. So, there is no way to play backups on Live with the modchip on.

What do you mean legal backup? A backup of your own game? It doesn't matter where it came from, etc. You are still using your modchip to play on Xbox Live.

if you have a magical way of running a backup on xbox live, sure.  you'll be fine.  but you can't.
